Product Development Centre/University of Brighton
The Product Development Centre has been set up to bring best practice in product development to businesses, individuals, and schools in the Hastings area. It is funded by: The European Union, SEEDA, Sea Space, and the University of Brighton, and funding has been secured to keep the centre operations until December 2008.
The Centre is managed by the University of Brighton and is able to tap into the expertise at the university and beyond. It is staffed by members of the South East Knowledge Exchange, with the majority being designers. Experetise of the centre includes: creativity, design concepts, 3D modelling and CAD, rapid prototyping, as well as wider subjects such as intellectual property and manufacturing.
