The Hastings and Bexhill area is rapidly becoming one of the most attractive business locations in the south east. It’s a coastal area with a difference – with a business economy that’s decidedly on the way up.

An intensive, ten-year economic development programme is under way, backed by over £80M of government investment. It’s boosting education and skills, creating high quality new business premises, revitalizing the town’s historic architecture, and strengthening the transport and Internet links.

Sea Space (new window) is the economic development company for Hastings and Bexhill. Set up by the regional development agency (SEEDA) and local councils, Sea Space is working to create a vibrant, prosperous future for this part of England’s south coast. Sea Space is helping the towns fulfil their potential as highly desirable places to work, live, study, and visit.

Rapid progress has established an atmosphere of strong business confidence and an extremely promising economic outlook.

As well as the Innovation Centre, Sea Space has established the Creative Media Centre, Priory Quarter – the new business district in Hastings town centre –, and Enviro21 Innovation Parks.
